Puzzle #1: Albert being asked to his age, replied, " Ten years ago I was 5 times as old as my son, but 20 years hence I shall be only twice as old as he." What is his age.

Puzzle #2: John and David two persons started at the same time from A. One rode on horse back at the rate of 7 1/2 miles an hour and arrived at B. 30 minutes later than the other who travelled the same distance by Train at the rate of 30 miles an hour. 

Puzzle #3: Alexendar sells to other person 9 horse and 7 camels for 30$, and to another, at the same price 6 horse and 13 camels for the same sum; what was the price of each  horse and camel? 

Puzzle #4: 5 Beds and 7 tables cost RS. 220 : while 4 Beds and 5 tables cost RS. 164. Find the cost of the table. 

Puzzle #5: X says to Z, " If you give me half of your money I will have twice as much as you will then have". Z replies, " you give me of your money and I will then have RS. 30 more than you". How much money has each ? 

Puzzle #6: P is 25 years older than Q, and P's age is as much above 20 as Q's is below 85. Find their both ages. 

Puzzle #7: The printed area of a rectangular page of a book is 96 sq cm. The printed area plus the area of the margin is 252 sq cm. Find the dimensions of the page if each of the four margins is 3 cm. 

Puzzle #8: A Motor Bike travels 15 miles faster than a Car and goes a distance of 220 miles in 1 1/2 hours less time than required by the car to travel the same distance. Find the speed of each vehicle.

Puzzle #9: A girl has RS. 4 to spend on two kinds of note-books. If she buys 2 of the smaller size and 6 of the larger size she will require 20 paisa more ; if she buys 6 of the smaller and 2 of the larger she will have 20 paisa left over. Find the price of each kind. 

Puzzle #10: The difference in the average speeds of two cars is 25 miles/ hour. The faster car takes two hours less to travel 150 miles than the slower car takes to travel 125 miles. Find the speed of the two cars.
